Paul Taylor was born in 1961 in Ashton-under-Lyne – a satellite city of Manchester, England. At the age of 3, his family moved to nearby Stalybridge. He started learning piano aged 5 and at the age of 8, he obtained a scholarship to Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester.
Despite his musical training, Paul went to the University of Nottingham to read Chemistry and became a science teacher. But music was always a huge part of his hinterland.
In recent years, Paul, who now lives in Sandpoint, Idaho, USA, has begun performing local gigs in and around Sandpoint. His most popular program features keyboard-based song covers from the 1970s and 1980s.
